Pic2Mesh AI

ABOUT

A practical image-to-3D tool, with the limits left visible

Pic2Mesh AI exists for the moment when you need a usable 3D starting point, not another week of tutorials. Upload one clear photo of an object and the service generates a textured GLB that you can inspect in the browser and download for Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot, or a later 3D-printing workflow.

What powers it

The generator uses Microsoft Research's open-source TRELLIS image-to-3D model through fal's hosted inference infrastructure. Pic2Mesh AI is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft or fal.

What it is good at

Product shots, toys, furniture, shoes, food, sculptures, and other single objects on simple backgrounds are the strongest inputs. The free tier is deliberately available without signup so you can judge the geometry and texture on your own image before paying.

What it is not

A single photo cannot reveal the back of an object, exact dimensions, hidden mechanical parts, or manufacturing tolerances. TRELLIS predicts those unseen details. Full rooms and landscapes often become a flat relief, reflective objects can distort, and generated meshes may need cleanup before animation or printing. We describe those limits before you spend a credit because a useful result matters more than a perfect sales claim.

How the service is funded

Everyone receives three free generations per day. One-time credit packs fund GPU processing for people who need more; there is no subscription and credits do not expire. One credit buys one generation.
